About the DS3800NPOC
This product is was manufactured by General Electric (GE). The DS3800NPOC what is known as a generator regulator card. This circuit board is a component of the Speedtronic Mark IV turbine control system.
Twenty integrated circuits are contained on the surface of the DS3800NPOC. Seventeen (17) of the integrated circuits are positioned on the left side of the board. On the right half of the DS3800NPOC there are three (3) additional integrated circuits. Located close to the bottom right of the DS3800NPOC is one (1) red and silver switch. With this switch, a user can interrupt or divert the current from a conductor to a different conductor. Positioned close to the center of the DS3800NPOC is large black signal conditioner shaped like a rectangle. Using a signal conditioner the operator can change an electric signal to another form of electric signal. The conditioner's model, CS2603, is printed on the signal conditioner. A large black converter which is shaped like a square is located next to the signal conditioner. The model number of the converter, M5000, is printed on top of the device. Ten (10) LEDs, also known as light emitting diodes which are red are placed on the right edge of the DS3800NPOC. Adjacent to those LEDs there are also two (2) LEDs which are orange. Located between the converter and the signal conditioner there is one (1) round MOV or metal oxide varistor. Near the bottom left corner of the DS3800NPOC a small rectangular silver crystal can be found.
