About the DS3800NPPB1H1D
The DS3800NPPB1H1D is a power supply circuit board. This product was made by General Electric (GE). The DS3800NPPB1H1D is part of the Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark IV system is responsible for automating turbine operations and protecting the turbines from unsafe conditions.
Four (4) inductors are located on the DS3800NPPB1H1D. These inductors are sometimes called coils. Five (5) silver capacitors can also be found on the DS3800NPPB1H1D. Three of the capacitors are located at the bottom left of the DS3800NPPB1H1D. The other two capacitors can be found in the upper right of the DS3800NPPB1H1D. Six (6) integrated circuits are placed throughout the DS3800NPPB1H1D. Two large transistors are situated near the top of the DS3800NPPB1H1D. Nine (9) smaller transistors can also be found in various places around the DS3800NPPB1H1D. Two (2) large rectangular resistors can be seen on the left half of the DS3800NPPB1H1D. Each of these devices has a resistance of ten watts (10w). Four (4) blue potentiometers are placed in various areas of the DS3800NPPB1H1D. These potentiometers contain dials which allow an operator to adjust the resistance of each device. One (1) red switch is positioned by the left edge of the DS3800NPPB1H1D. One (1) round red MOV, or metal oxide varistor can be found in the upper left corner of the DS3800NPPB1H1D. Near the left edge of the DS3800NPPB1H1D there is a small black connector port. This connector is a male port which contains twenty-six (26) pins. Three terminal blocks, containing a total of twenty-nine (29) terminals can also be found on the left side of the DS3800NPPB1H1D.
