About the DS3800NPPB1M1J
The DS3800NPPB1M1J was made by GE to be a part of the Mark IV turbine control series. Mark IV was created by General Electric for the control of gas and steam turbines. The DS3800NPPB1M1J is what is known as a power supply circuit board.
Three (3) large black inductors, also known as coils, are featured on the DS3800NPPB1M1J. Also situated on the DS3800NPPB1M1J is a smaller inductor. Located on the DS3800NPPB1M1J are five (5) large capacitors which are silver. The five capacitors are sitting vertically on the DS3800NPPB1M1J. Close to the upper edge of the DS3800NPPB1M1J there are two (2) large transistors. There is also another large transistor which is attached with wires to the circuit board near the bottom. The DS3800NPPB1M1J has nine (9) smaller silver transistors. Two (2) long rectangular silver resistors are featured on the DS3800NPPB1M1J. The part IRC 8850 and IRC 8943 are written on the top of these resistors. Each resistor contains a resistance of ten (10) watts (10w). One red switch is situated on the left side of the DS3800NPPB1M1J. Switches can be used to alter the current of a device. The device can be switched to either “DISABLE” or “ENABLE”. Four (4) blue potentiometers are placed in various areas around the DS3800NPPB1M1J. A dial is seen on each potentiometer which an operator can use to alter the resistance of the potentiometer or variable resistor. On one side of the DS3800NPPB1M1J there is a blue connector port. On the left side of the DS3800NPPB1M1J there are two (2) fuses. Many jumper pins which are gold are lined up in various places around the DS3800NPPB1M1J. Also placed on the circuit board are five (5) integrated circuits.
