About the DS3800NPSE1E1G
The DS3800NPSE1E1G was manufactured by General Electric (GE). This printed circuit board (PCB) was designed to be an important component in the Speedtronic Mark IV system. Mark IV is one in a series of controls for turbine automation and regulation. Mark IV is responsible for automating a turbine system and protecting it against any unsafe operating conditions.
The DS3800NPSE1E1G contains many various types of circuit board components. Two light blue connector ports are situated along the left side of the circuit board. These ports are both “male” connector ports. They are positioned vertically on the DS3800NPSE1E1G. At the top of the board, there is another light blue connector port which is smaller than the other two. Twenty-seven (27) medium-sized blue capacitors are prominently featured on the DS3800NPSE1E1G. These capacitors are labeled from C1 to C27. They are aligned in vertical rows on the DS3800NSE1E1G. Nine (9) silver capacitors which are also medium-sized are aligned in a horizontal row on the DS3800NPSE1E1G. These capacitors are named C31 to C39. Four fuses are situated on the surface of the DS3800NPSE1E1G. There are also spaces available for two more fuses. Three (3) potentiometers are located at the top of the DS3800NPSE1E1G. Each potentiometer, or variable resistor, has a dial that an operator can use to adjust the resistance of each device. Twenty-four small diodes, which are black and grey in color, are lined up in vertical rows on the DS3800NPSE1E1G. Near the bottom of the DS3800NPSE1E1G circuit board, there is one (1) metal oxide varistor (MOV).
