About the DS3800NPSL
The DS3800NPSL is a printed circuit board created for the Speedtronic Mark IV series. This series was made for gas and steam turbine control. Mark IV automates turbine operations and protects turbines from potentially dangerous conditions.
Prominent components on the DS3800NPSL are three large inductors, which are sometimes called coils. These inductors are circular and they are surrounded by plastic covers. These plastic covers are blue on top and black on the sides. A long connector port with is black in color is attached to the far left side of the DS3800NPSL. This port gives the operator an option to connect more components or circuit boards to the DS3800NPSL. Nine integrated circuits are featured on the DS3800NPSL. Eight of these integrated circuits are located on the left side of the DS3800NPSL. The ninth of the integrated circuits can be found near the lower right corner of the DS3800NPSL. At the lower end of the DS3800NPSL there are three (3) medium capacitors. One (1) LED (light emitting diode) is positioned on the right side of the DS3800NPSL. This light emitting diodes an orange light. Four small silver transistors can be found on the DS3800NPSL. These transistors are grouped together near the lower right side of the DS3800NPSL. Several small resistors which are banded in various colors are located all around the DS3800NPSL. Many small capacitors are also positioned on the DS3800NPSL. A series of small black diodes can be seen on the DS3800NPSL. A few test points, which allow the user to test the board’s functionality, are also featured on the DS3800NPSL.
