Product Description

The DS3800NPSL1A1A is an RTD power supply circuit board. This product was created by General Electric (GE). The DS3800NPSL1A1A is part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series. Mark IV is a system of controls for gas and steam turbines.

Three (3) inductors, or coils, are the most noticeable components on the DS3800NPSL1A1A. These inductors are round and surrounded by plastic covers. The sides of these covers are black and the tops are blue. One (1) large black connector port is attached along the left edge of the DS3800NPSL1A1A. Additional components may be attached to the DS3800NPSL1A1A using this port. Nine (9) integrated circuits are positioned on the DS3800NPSL1A1A. Eight (8) of these integrated circuits are sitting on the left side of the DS3800NPSL1A1A. The ninth integrated circuit may be found near the lower right corner of the DS3800NPSL1A1A. Three (3) medium sized capacitors are attached to the DS3800NPSL1A1A on the lower side. One (1) LED (light-emitting diode) is attached to the right side of the DS3800NPSL1A1A. This LED is orange in color and glows when it is functioning. Four (4) small transistors are found on the DS3800NPSL1A1A. These transistors are silver in color. They are grouped together near the lower right-hand corner of the DS3800NPSL1A1A. Numerous small banded resistors which are striped in a variety of colors are placed around the DS3800NPSL1A1A. Many very small capacitors and diodes may also be seen on the DS3800NPSL1A1A. A few test points are located on the DS3800NPSL1A1A, which allow the operator to test the board to ensure it is working correctly.
