About the DS3800NPSM1E1C
The DS3800NPSM1E1C is a power supply circuit board. This printed circuit board (PCB) was created by General Electric (GE). The DS3800NPSM1E1C was designed to be a component in the Speedtronic Mark IV series which is a system of controls used to automate turbines.
The DS3800NPSM1E1C prominently features three (3) large inductors. These inductors can also be called coils. They are labeled with the designator L and are called L1, L2, and L3. Two of the inductors are positioned in the top left corner of the DS3800NPSM1E1C. The third inductor is positioned below the other two. This inductor has a black cover which is printed with the part number 4483797 among other numbers. The inductor is connected to the circuit board with six (6) wires. Located directly next to this inductor are two (2) large silver diodes. These diodes are labeled CR1 and CR2. They are also attached to the DS3800NPSM1E1C with black wires. Two (2) large silver transistors are placed in the bottom left corner of the DS3800NPSM1E1C. These transistors are labeled Q3 and Q4. Four (4) other small transistors are placed throughout the circuit board. These transistors are labeled Q5 and Q6. Four (4) large orange capacitors are attached to the bottom part of the DS3800NPSM1E1C. Six (6) large brown resistors which are banded in gold, orange, black, red, brown and purple are placed throughout the DS3800NPSM1E1C. Two (2) integrated circuits can be found close to the center of the circuit board. These integrated circuits are labeled as U1 and U2.
