The DS3800NPSM1G1E was created by General Electric (GE). This device is a power supply panel. The DS3800NPSM1G1E is a component in the Speedtronic Mark IV series. Mark IV was developed to control turbines and protect them from working conditions which may be unsafe.

The DS3800NPSM1G1E features two inductors, or coils, on the top of the circuit board. Next to the inductors is an empty space which was made to contain a large capacitor. Another inductor is positioned on the DS3800NPSM1G1E underneath the other two. This inductor is connected to the surface of the circuit board by six wires. Two large metal diodes are placed next to this inductor. These diodes are labeled C1 and C2. They are connected to the DS3800NPSM1G1E by two black wires each. Two large transistors are positioned at the bottom left corner of the DS3800NPSM1G1E. These transistors are labeled with the part number 12SE314 8747. Four large orange capacitors sit on the bottom right of the DS3800NPSM1G1E. One fuse which is labeled with the name FU1 is on the right edge of the circuit board. Next to the fuse is one red LED, or light-emitting diode, and one orange LED. One red switch is positioned between the LEDs. Two small integrated circuits can be found near the center of the DS3800NPSM1G1E. Also in the center of the board are two medium-sized capacitors. One of these capacitors is yellow and one is blue. Two small metal transistors can be found on the DS3800NPSM1G1E. The transistors are named Q1 and Q2.
