About the DS3800NPSR1A1A
The DS3800NPSR1A1A was made to be a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series. This device was created by GE (General Electric). The DS3800NPSR1A1A is what is known as a PCB or printed circuit board. The DS3800NPSR1A1A was designed to be a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark series of turbine control and automation have been used for decades.
The DS3800NPSR1A1A features two very noticeable semiconductors. These semiconductors are black and shaped like a square. Each semiconductor has a white label on its surface. F28S05/1000Z, which is the part number, is printed on both labels with black letters. Directly above the semiconductors, there are 2 medium blue capacitors. These capacitors are both designated with the initial C and are called C2 and C12. Two capacitors which are small and yellow in color are situated beneath the semiconductors. These small capacitors are designated C3 and C13. Underneath these small capacitors, there are yellow capacitors which are larger. Along the bottom side of the DS3800NPSR1A1A there is a long black connector port. Labeled alongside the port are the numbers 10 to 80 in increments of 10. On top of the blue capacitors, there are two small capacitors which are yellow. Each capacitor is labeled with the initial C, from C4 to C14.
The upper part of the DS3800NPSR1A1A circuit board contains two integrated circuits. Two half circle-shaped transistors are sitting adjacent to these integrated circuits. The two transistors are designated with the letter Q. The DS3800NPSR1A1A has one light-emitting diode (LED) which lights up orange when in use. The LED is positioned near the top of the circuit board. Four test points are lined up on the top of the DS3800NPSR1A1A near the LED.
