About the DS3800NPSR1B1B
The DS3800NPSR1B1B printed circuit board, or PCB, was created by General Electric (GE). This board was designed to be components of the Mark IV turbine control system. Mark IV is one of the systems in the Mark series of turbine control and automation. The DS3800NPSR1B1B is what is known as a power supply circuit board.
The DS3800NPSR1B1B features two square semiconductors. These semiconductors are black in color. They both feature the part name F28S05 1000Z. A large black connector port is positioned at the bottom of the DS3800NPSR1B1B. With this connector port, the board’s operator may connect other circuit board or extra components to the DS3800NPSR1B1B. The numbers ten (10) through eighty (80) are listed along the side of the connector port. There are two blue capacitors which are centered on the DS3800NPSR1B1B. They are labeled with the names C2 and C12. Many small yellow capacitors are located throughout the DS3800NPSR1B1B. Four of these capacitors are found toward the bottom of the circuit board between the two semiconductors and the connector port. Two of these capacitors are very small and the other two are larger. They are labeled with the names C13, C11, C3, and C1. Fifteen small resistors which are banded in varying colors are found on the top part of the DS3800NPSR1B1B. Two small transistors which are in the shape of half circles are positioned near the top of the DS3800NPSR1B1B. There are also four test points at the top of the DS3800NPSR1B1B which can be used to test the functionality of the circuit board.
