About the DS3800NPTB
The DS3800NPTB is a PCB from GE manufactured as a component for the Mark IV series. This series was created for steam/gas turbine management and is built with integrated microprocessors that all monitor the turbine together around the clock for issues like high pressure, loss of flame, vibration, and fire.
The DS3800NPTB is built with the following specs and components:
-
It is lettered (top edge) A through J for alignment purposes. Each letter is interspersed with a triangular hash marking.
-
It has one right-angled female multi-pin connector. This connector spans the entire left edge of the board.
-
It has one right-angled 10-pin male connector.
-
It is built with twenty-four potentiometers. The board uses trim potentiometers, which are designed to calibrate, tune, and adjust circuits.
-
It has two jumper switches. Jumpers finish off circuits as they are placed over certain pins on the board, thus jumpers allow for some customization of the board.
-
It has one set of spare PTH, or plated through holes.
-
It has twelve circuits, including quad op amps.
-
It has extractor clips added to two corners. Extractors may be used as handles or they may be used as lever points. When they are used as lever points, they aid technicians pull the board out of tight locations without damaging circuitry or components.
-
It is built with several polyester film capacitors of differing values. Capacitors made of other material also appear on the board.
Our team will pack and ship the DS3800NPTB to you in a protective, static-reducing sleeve or covering. Please review OEM paperwork such as manuals and datasheets before attempting installation. Technical support for the DS3800NPTB was provided by General Electric.
