About the DS3800NRRA1G1F
The DS3800NRRA1G1F is a PCB (printed circuit board) from General Electric for their Mark IV series. This series has been created for gas/steam turbine management and is a microcomputer-based system built upon triple-redundant backups on all protection parameters and critical control features. These intentional overlaps on important systems minimize downtime that is caused by electronics failure.
The DS3800NRRA1G1F has the following components and specifications:
-
It is built to accept and communicate with an auxiliary board. If installed, this auxiliary would be held in place by the sixteen board-to-board pins placed on the DS3800NRRA1G1F in its right quadrant.
-
It has one 218A4553-1 A/mp PCB connector, located on the left.
-
It has one Augat connector. This is a 28-pin female connector.
-
It has eight light emitting diodes, or LEDs, including one amber and seven red. These are located on the right edge in pairs.
-
It has ten test points. All TPs are labeled by number. TP10 is also marked “com.”
-
It has four board stiffeners attached to the board. These decrease the chance the board will bend or crack. They also decrease vibration.
-
It has four transistors. This includes one VHF/HF power MOS transistor. MOS transistors are able to tolerate a full load mismatch, have good thermal stability and have low intermodulation distortion. They also have easy power control.
-
It has twenty-three circuits, including dual operational gates, low power/low offset voltage quad comparators, and hex inverting gates.
-
Resistors may be either ceramic-covered metal film or carbon composite.
The DS3800NRRA1G1F originally had technical support supplied by GE. This included publications like datasheets and manuals.
The OEM no longer supports older parts like Mark IV components. AX Control will help you keep your older model Speedtronic systems running through our sales, our service, and our exchange programs. If you have any questions, please call or email us.
