About the DS3800NSFC1J1G
The DS3800NSFC1J1G is a PCB (printed control board) manufactured by GE for the Mark IV series. This series was created for steam or gas turbine management and was built with multiple backups on all critical controls and parameters. These backups allow the Mark IV to shift responsibilities as needed to keep the system up and running, thereby minimizing downtime.
The DS3800NSFC1J1G is a system firing board. The auxiliary DS3800DSFC can be added to this board. When this optional auxiliary is added the DS3800NSFC1J1G has access to one more potentiometer. The auxiliary board is supported at each corner by four nylon pins which have been inserted into the surface of DS3800NSFC1J1G. Two board-to-board pins hold the auxiliary in place.
The DS3800NSFC1J1G has twelve TP test points and one amber light emitting diode. This diode is labeled IMOK. The DS3800NSFC1J1G has one multi-positional jumper switch. It has nine transistors, one row of spare PTH, and five resistor network arrays, which may be used for voltage division.
