About the DS3800NTEA1A1A
The DS3800NTEA1A1A is a termination board manufactured by General Electric for their Mark IV series. Designed for gas or steam turbine management, the MKIV is GE’s dedicated control system created to handle with efficiency most of the standard working procedures of turbine management, including temperature control, control sequencing, speed control, startup control, power supply, and shutdown. It has a better-designed operator interface than the previously used MKI or MKII, and improved reliability, including a substantial decrease in GT outage rate.
The DS3800NTEA1A1A is built with a single circuit, which is a 3-state octal buffer line driver line receiver. This buffer/driver features 400 mV of hysteresis at each low current PNP data line input, which provides improved noise rejection and high fanout outputs.
The DS3800NTEA1A1A has the code 6BA00 imprinted on one edge. It is alignment marked and numbered behind the one mating connector on the board. This is a 218A4553-1 connector. The board has been populated with two extractor/inserter clips, which are affixed by roller pin to each right corner. Extractor clips can be used as either a pivot point or as a handle as needed by the technician.
The DS3800NTEA1A1A has two rows of spare plated-through holes. PTH allow board components to make contact with the inner conductive layer of the board. The board is built with both metal film and carbon composite resistors. Capacitors may be fixed vacuum or other material.
Technical support for the DS3800NTEA1A1A was furnished by GE. This includes all publications like manuals and data sheets.
