About the DS3800NTIA1A1B
The printed circuit board DS3800NTIA1A1B manufactured by GE is a component for the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The MKIV can automate such procedures as control sequencing, startup, and shutdown, and continuously monitors the turbine system for problems such as fire and vibration. As compared to the MKI and MKII (earlier Speedtronic systems,) the MKIV has a significantly higher reliability rate and a lower rate of turbine outage.
The DS3800NTIA1A1B has the following specs and components:
-
It has a single LED. This diode is amber in color.
-
It has ten circuits located on the board.
-
It has two jumpers. Jumper switches allow for some customization of the board.
-
It has a right-angled female mating connector. This connector is located on the left edge of the board.
-
It has one transistor. This component is surrounded by a heatsink.
-
It has two sets of spare PTH, or plated through-holes
-
It has one resistor network array. Resistor networks may be used for voltage division.
-
It has TP test points (eight.)
-
It has two extractor clips.
-
It has four vertical nylon spacer pins.
-
It is lettered “A” through “J” on its top edge.
-
It is marked 6BA02 on its bottom edge.
-
It is built with ceramic-covered metal film resistors.
-
It is built with aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
-
Capacitors and resistors made from other materials may appear on the board.
The DS3800NTIA1A1B is designed to function as a tachometer interface board. Our team will use a protective static-reducing sleeve to protect this board. Technicians should review OEM paperwork like manuals or data-sheets, if it is available before installation begins. General Electric maintained all technical support for this part.
