The DS3800NVCB is part of the Mark IV Speedtronic line by General Electric. Each component on the DS3800NVCB is labeled with a corresponding number and a letter. General Electric’s company logo is printed on the circuit board with where the circuit board was manufactured (U. S. A.) printed underneath the logo as well as the part number (DS3800NVCB) printed on the edge of the circuit board. The DS3800NVCB has twenty-two large light blue diodes, twenty-two small light blue diodes, twelve large black diodes, three large bright red diodes, three small dark red diodes, and ten large silver diodes. The DS3800NVCB has six small yellow capacitors, ten medium yellow capacitors, and four large yellow capacitors. The capacitors hold extra energy in an electrical field for the DS3800NVCB to use at a later time. The DS3800NVCB has a small silver circular transistor and two large silver transistors with black fences around the outside of them. The transistors amplify and change electrical power and electrical signals. The DS3800NVCB has a large black female terminal and a male black terminal port. These allow the DS3800NVCB to be attached to surrounding circuit boards. The DS3800NVCB has fifteen integrated circuits. The integrated circuits are separated into two different categories that have similar functions where they hold the programming for the DS3800NVCB. One is called an EEPROM which comes pre-programmed and cannot be altered. The other is called an EPROM which comes pre-programmed but can be updated as needed.
