Product Description

The DS3800NVMB is a board component for the Mark IV Speedtronic system.  This unit functions as a Voltage monitor BI.  

The Mark IV system is designed for use, typically with gas turbine equipment, but also with some steam turbine equipment.   The Speedtronic system can be used for the operation, control, alarming, and emergency stoppage of industrial turbines.  It also offers the ability to manipulate data from these systems. 

The  DS3800NVMB board is a small board that has been double-drilled in each corner of the board.  This double-drilling allows the board to be mounted in place within the system, and also allows an additional board to be mounted above this unit if required. 

The  DS3800NVMB is marked with reference markings along two edges to help with placement.  It also has codes to help with wiring.  The board has several different types of components, including a transformer, several transistors including one placed within a heat sink, TP test points, an LED indicator, resistors, capacitors, and diodes.   The board has a single vertical plug connector that allows for connection to another board.  Also, the unit uses surface wiring in two locations.   The unit has a single integrated circuit on its surface.
