About the DS3800NVPA
The DS3800NVPA is part of General Electric’s Mark IV Speedtronic line. The DS3800NVPA has six slim yellow capacitors and three larger yellow capacitors. A capacitor is used to store extra energy in its electrical field for the circuit board to use at another time. The DS3800NVPA has fifteen teal blue diodes, and around ten small yellow diodes. The diodes control the direction of the energy by allowing the energy to flow in only one direction. The DS3800NVPA has three amber colored LED or light emitting diodes which illuminate as energy flows through it. The DS3800NVPA also has over thirty resistors. The resistors are identifiable by the multiple colored rings around the outside. These rings also coincide with a code to identify how much energy the resistors can restrict. The DS3800NVPA also has a combination of twenty-two EPROM and EEPROMs. The EPROM and EEPROMs are also known as integrated circuits. The EPROM is a re-programmable integrated circuit that holds the data for the DS3800NVPA to work. The EEPROMs come pre-programmed integrated circuit that also hold the data for the DS3800NVPA to function as well but this one cannot be changed. The DS3800NVPA also has two transistors, one is a small black transistor, the other is a small silver circular transistor. The DS3800NVPA also has a small blue male terminal port that allows the DS3800NVPA to attach to other circuit boards around it. The DS3800NVPA is also a motherboard that has four pegs to place a daughter board on.
