About the DS3800XPEX
The DS3800XPEX is a part of the General Electric Speedtronic Mark IV turbine line. The DS3800XPEX is a relay driver. Turbines are the leading producer of energy used around the world. A turbine uses internal combustion engines to create a gas mixture to power the turbines. The DS3800XPEX has ten black male terminal connection ports. These male ports allow for the DS3800XPEX to be connected to the surrounding circuit boards. The DS3800XPEX has one small yellow capacitor to hold extra energy in an electrical field. The DS3800XPEX has two silver resistors that restrict energy flow. The resistors restrictive ability is indicated on the multiple colored bands along the outside of the resistor. The DS3800XPEX has one small black diode. A diode only lets the energy flow in one direction. The DS3800XPEX has a long metal track in the center of the board. This metal track has four lines of metal pins on either side. These pins can be used as Jumper ports and have a cover that can be moved around between the metal pins to direct the energy flow around the circuit board. The DS3800XPEX has around twenty-six drilled holes around the outer edge of the board to make installation simple. Each piece of the DS3800XPEX is labeled with a number and a letter. The part number (DS3800XPEX) is stamped on the circuit board along with the logo for General Electric and where the circuit board was manufactured.
