The DS3800XTES1A1A from GE is a replacement part for the company’s Mark IV turbine control system line.  Although earlier turbine control systems like the MKI and MKII were appreciated for their reliability and longevity, it was the Mark IV that offered significant and real improvements to turbine performance through its unique control design system.  This triple modular redundancy system significantly improved the reliability and uptime of connected turbine systems. 

The DS3800XTES1A1A board component is a narrow and long board.  It has only a few components mounted to its surface.  The most prominent of these is a large black connector mounted to its rear edge.  Other components include three LEDs (all amber) lined up toward the center of the board.  Additionally, the board includes several vertical plug connectors, resistors, diodes, and capacitors.  These components are marked with reference designators to help users identify each component. 

The DS3800XTES1A1A is marked on the board’s surface with the General Electric logo. It also carries the board ID, wiring codes, and version codes. These codes will help you as you install and connect the board. Please refer to original documentation, including manuals, GE datasheets, and product guides for additional information regarding safe handling and proper installation procedures.  If you no longer have these documents, we may be able to help with replacements.
