About the DS3800XTFT1B1B
The DS3800XTFT1B1B is a printed circuit board designed and originally marketed by General Electric (GE) as part of their Speedtronic Mark IV turbine control system. The MKIV system is built with a mounted operator interface (membrane-switched) and offers a number of display options. This includes admin lists for things such as scale sets, control id selection, security codes, time/date data, and PROM ids. The unit also has alarm logging and lockout. The MKIV was the first Speedtronic system to use a TMR (triple modular redundant) arrangement.
The DS3800XTFT1B1B is one version of the XTFT Mark IV component PCB within our inventory. Each version is slightly different, so please be sure to order one that will work with your particular system.
The DS3800XTFT1B1B is a small circuit board. It is designed as a long, narrow board. Instead of factory drill mounts being placed in the board corners, factory drill holes are located along the long board edges offset from the corners. The board edges are marked with alphanumeric markings to help with proper alignment. The board itself has a significant amount of bare surface. The only components are two jumper switches, eight plug components, and a single vertical pin connector. Each component is marked with a reference designator or some other mark to help with identification by the end-user.
Original documentation from GE like manuals and user guides will guide you through proper handling as well as installation procedures. Please review these before unboxing your new component from AX Control.
