About the DS3800XVIA1A1A
Technical support for the DS3800XVIA1A1A was initially provided by General Electric. AX Control suggests referring to the original manufacturer's manual for all safety and installation methods.
The DS3800XVIA1A1A and other circuit boards in the Speedtronic Mark IV line by General Electric are used to control and run gas and steam turbines. A gas or steam turbine uses a large internal combustion engine to mix fuel and air to cause a contained explosion. This explosion creates a series of gases that are under a lot of pressure and force their way out of the engine causing the turbine to move at high speed generating a great deal of energy. The energy created by the moving turbine is then harnessed and used for a multitude of other purposes. The DS3800XVIA1A1A is a relatively small board without much on it. The DS3800XVIA1A1A features on small red two port female connection terminal. The DS3800XVIA1A1A has three thick metal pins and around fifty-five thinner metal pins split into three separate rows along the short edge of the board. Each pin has a corresponding number. The DS3800XVIA1A1A has a large black terminal port and a shorter black terminal port along the center of the circuit board. The top of the large terminal port has seventeen silver tabs while the shorter terminal port has twelve. The DS3800XVIA1A1A has black terminals has a letter and number that correspond with each silver tab. The part number (DS3800XVIA1A1A) printed on it, along with General Electric’s insignia.
