Product Description

The DS3810CMBB board is a printed circuit board from General Electric.  This board is used as part of the Mark IV Speedtronic system, which was designed by General Electric as a control and maintenance system for industrial gas and steam turbines of various sizes. 

The DS3810CMBB board is an upgraded version of a DS3800 GE board.   The board includes a larger board component that acts as a carrier for a slightly smaller board component.  The larger carrier includes a board stiffener along one long edge.  The opposite edge from this stiffener has two extraction clips inserted into the board’s factory drilled corner holes.  The board edges are marked alphanumerically to help with alignment.  

The top board in the DS3810CMBB module is screw mounted to the bottom carrier.  It includes three right-angled pin connectors on its front leading edge.  Each of these has clips to hold connecting cables securely in place.   The opposite board edge has a terminal strip along half of its length.  

Between these sections, the board is primarily populated by integrated circuits.  However, other board components include jumper switches, resistors, capacitors, and transistors.   Please be sure all jumpers have been properly set before you begin installation procedures.  Jumpers on your replacement board should match jumper settings on your previous board to ensure a smooth transition between the two.
