About the DS3810RAMA
The DS3810RAMA board is a GE Universal Memory board with an EEPROM daughterboard installed on its surface. This board is built using a DS3800HUMA board and extending its capabilities using additional daughterboards attached to its surface using pin connectors mounted through the daughterboard’s surface.
The primary board is built with two mounted extractor clips. These are installed in the two front corners of the board. The nylon clips are designed to help with both the installation and the removal of the board. During installation, extractor clips give technicians a place to hold onto the board. During removal, the clips act as a lever, pulling the board from its location within a tight rack system.
Board components include a toggle switch, LED indicators, capacitors, test points, pin connectors, resistor network arrays, and a backplane connector. The board has multiple jumper switches and over 30 integrated circuits. Many of these are EPROMS or PROMS. The board also has two EEPROM daughter boards. The board is marked on the edges with the board’s id number and with additional codes to help with location and with wiring.
More information regarding the DS3810RAMA board can be sourced through GE manuals and user guides.
