About the DS3810RAMC1A1A

The DS3810RAMC1A1A is an improved and upgraded GE Universal Memory Card, available in its original form on our website under the original part number DS3800HUMA.  This upgraded board is designed to offer a quick installation and is part of the popular Mark IV Speedtronic system from General Electric.  This system is used for the control and management of steam and gas industrial turbine systems. 

The DS3810RAMC1A1A has extractor clips installed in the front leading edges within two factory drilled holes.  These extractor clips will lock the module in place after it has been installed into the rack system.  However, the clips also offer you a lever point that makes it easier to pull the board from its installation place when it is time for maintenance or replacement.   The board’s leading-edge also has an LED indicator (red) and a toggle switch for reset.  

The rear edge of the board is fitted with a backplate connector that allows the board to connect to other components within a rack system. 

Board components on the DS3810RAMC1A1A include EEPROMs (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory.)  The base board was built with EPROMS that had erasable programmable read-only memory; this type of memory retained its data with power removal, but could not be reprogrammed. 

Other board components on the DS3810RAMC1A1A include resistor network arrays, green LED indicators and four individual DIP switches.
