About the DS3815PDLA
The DS3815PDLA board from General Electric is part of the Mark IV Speedtronic system. This board is designed as an upgraded DS3800 board component. There are several similar boards like the DS3815PDLA in our inventory, so please be sure to order the correct board for your particular system.
The DS3815PDLA is a rectangular board with a backplane attached to one short board edge. The opposite edge is populated with three LED indicators; this includes two red and one yellow LED. The LEDs are spaced along the board edge. Additionally, the leading corners have extractor clips installed to help users install and remove the board by using the clip as a leverage point. The clips also help keep the board securely in place after it has been installed.
The board also includes more than fifty integrated circuits. These chips include hex inverting gates, CMOS static RAM chips, and line drivers and line receivers. The board also has Augat connectors, resistor network arrays, test points, and right-angled connectors.
Additionally, the DS3815PDLA board includes several lines of jumper switches. These jumpers will allow the end-user to change some circuits to function as the user needs. Make sure your jumper settings on your replacement board match those of the board you are replacing before beginning installation.
