About the DS3815PDLC
The DS3815PDLC is an upgraded DS3800 HMHA board that is designed to be used within a Mark IV Speedtronic system. The Mark IV was the first of the GE Speedtronic systems that offered extra reliability due to its TMR (triple modular redundant) architecture that relied on two-out-of-three voting using independent processor control
The DS3815PDLC is designed using an upgraded DS3800HMHA board. It is only one version of this upgraded board available in our inventory. Please be sure to check and order the correct upgraded board for your needs.
The DS3815PDLC is designed as a rectangular circuit board with integrated extractor clips in its leading board edge. This edge also includes two right-angled connectors and three LED indicators spaced across the length of the edge. This includes two red and one yellow LED. LEDs are labeled and will be visible after the board is installed and in place. The extractor clips allow the module to be easily pulled from the rack system using leverage points, but also helps keep the board firmly attached while installed. This board edge also includes two TP test points.
Other board components include two Augat connectors, several resistor network arrays, over fifty integrated circuits, and multiple jumper switches. The board is labeled with codes and markings to help with positioning and wiring. Please refer to original GE manuals, datasheets and product guides to help with additional information about wiring and installation.
