About the DS3820ACSA
DS3820ACSA GE AC Source Sel
The DS3820ACSA is a module component for the Mark IV control system from General Electric. This unit is available through AX Control as a reconditioned used module as well as liquidated surplus from never-used stock. The DS3820ACSA is no longer manufactured by GE.
The DS3820ACSA functions as an AC Source Sel. It is designed as a metal carrier component shaped with two right-angled legs. Both legs end in top-hat flanges that have been drilled near their outside edge with screw mounts. The carrier is open to the top and to the bottom. The carrier has a round opening cut into its surface near its center point to give wires a channel. Surface wires connect components located underneath the carrier to components located on its surface.
The DS3820ACSA has a small circuit board mounted to its top surface. This board is protected by a plexiglass shield held on by standoffs. The board is populated by a transformer, a potentiometer, terminal pins, transistors, resistors, capacitors, and diodes. Surface wiring is used to connect points on the board as well as to connect the board to other module components. The top of the board also has a terminal strip along one edge to control wires. Several other types of components are mounted on the lower surface of the carrier. For more information about proper installation or use of the DS3820ACSA refer to GE technical support products like manuals or data sheets.
AX Control is located near the Research Triangle Park area in Wake County, NC.
