About the DS3820AIPA
** Technical support for the DS3820AIPA was initially provided by General Electric. AX Control suggests referring to the original manufacturer's manual for all safety and installation methods.
The DS3820AIPA is an ANA 10 module for the Speedtronic Mark IV series from General Electric. The DS3820AIPA has around seventy teal diodes. Diodes only allow energy to move in one direction around the circuit board. The DS3820AIPA has nearly one-hundred resistors. The resistors have multiple colored rings that indicate the amount of energy the resistor is capable of withstanding. The DS3820AIPA has thirteen blue male connection terminals. Twelve of the male terminal ports have twenty metal pins inside, the thirteenth male terminal port is a bit smaller with only ten metal pins inside. The DS3820AIPA has four white plastic male terminal ports. These male terminal ports have anywhere from two to four gold colored metal pins. The DS3820AIPA has a female terminal port. It is small and red with only two openings. The DS3820AIPA has seven large black rectangles with twenty-six metal tabs on the top of each rectangle. The DS3820AIPA has four metal fasteners. These fasteners are spaced in between the black rectangles. Each metal fastener has two screws one on each end to secure the circuit board in place. There is also a thin metal edge (on the opposite side of the metal fasteners) that have two pre-drilled anchor or screw holes to assist in installation. The DS3820AIPA also has several screws around the perimeter of the circuit board.
