About the DS3820DIMC
The DS3820DIMC is an ISO module from General Electric. This board is typically used as part of the Mark IV Speedtronic turbine control system. AX control maintains a large inventory of Speedtronic components from various systems (Mark I through Mark VI) so we can better and more efficiently service our customers’ needs.
The DS3820DIMC Isolation module is designed to provide isolation between wetting power and core control power to provide protection against power surges and dips. The board is built upon a metal carrier and is bolted to this via two screw connections. The board itself carries two very large board components designed to allow for additional connections to other components. One of these components is vertically placed and carries additional components within its hollow core.
Other board components include TP test points, jumper switches, resistors, and variable resistors, capacitors, and diodes. Most components will be marked with a reference designation or will carry a code from their original manufacturer that will enable you to find more information from their original datasheet. The printed circuit board is also marked with the GE logo and with codes that should provide you with more information regarding the proper placement and proper wiring of the component.
If more information is needed beyond this, including information about handing, installation, and maintenance schedules, please refer to documentation from the OEM like manuals, data sheets, and user guides. If your original copies of these documents have been misplaced, AX Control may be able to provide you with replacement copies along with your order.
