About the DS3820DMVB
The DS3820DMVB module is a rack that was made by General Electric to hold circuit boards that were made for the GE Mark IV SPEEDTRONIC series, which is a turbine control system. The Mark IV SPEEDTRONIC series is no longer being produced and is no longer supported by General Electric, but AX Control still continues to stock this series’ products for our customers and therefore may have the DS3820DMVB rack in stock now. If you would like to verify whether or not the DS3820DMVB rack is indeed currently in our inventory, then be sure to give us a call or send us an email.
The DS3820DMVB rack was designed to house a maximum of three circuit boards that are used in the Mark IV SPEEDTRONIC series of turbine controls. This series, and therefore the circuit boards that the DS3820DMVB rack is designed to have placed within it, are designed to control the operations of either gas or steam turbines. This means that these circuit boards should be properly protected, such as within the DS3820DMVB rack whenever they are not in use.
Even though the DS3820DMVB rack can house up to three circuit boards and provide them with adequate protection, it is still a good idea to keep the area in which this rack is kept clean and clear of any dangerous materials. This includes keeping the DS3820DMVB rack away from any dust, debris, spills, or corrosive gases. Be sure that the DS3820DMVB rack itself is also cleaned regularly to prevent that circuit boards that are housed inside from being damaged from any foreign materials.
