About the DS3820LLTA
DS3820LLTA GE PC CIRCUIT BOARD
The DS3820LLTA is a Mark IV circuit board component. The MKIV was the first TMR architectured Speedtronic system released by GE to be used for the management of gas or steam turbines. Triple modular redundant control systems use majority-voting system to create a single output from multiple inputs in order to mask and correct faults caused by hardware issues. The Mark IV has high reliability and significantly reduced downtime as compared to the previous Speedtronic system (Mark II.) Reconditioned units of the DS3820LLTA is available from AX Control.
The DS3820LLTA is composed of a metal carrier connected to a slightly smaller circuit board by four standoffs connected with screws. The lower metal carrier is slightly larger than the circuit board. It has two downward facing flanges, one on each short edge of the board. The board component has two terminal strips that each has a cover, three vertical pin cable connectors, and a third metal terminal strip that is part of the metal carrier. This terminal strip is part of a flange that turns up and over the edge of the circuit board, rising up from the edge of the metal carrier.
