The DS3820PS5B1A is a power supply module designed for use with General Electric’s Mark IV turbine control system.  The Mark IV was one of the earlier Speedtronic systems released by GE for the management of industrial power turbines (gas or steam systems.)

This unit has been designed within an exterior metal housing.  The unit has a plexiglass shield located on its top edge.   The exterior housing is designed with a number of cutouts.  These are used to maximize the ventilation of heat buildup from internal components.  The shedding of heat in this way helps keep components working properly.  Several cables and wires connect internal components and connect to Augat and screw connectors.  The unit also includes a single amber LED and TP test points.
