About the DS3820RDNA
The DS3820RDNA is a relay driver module for the Mark IV Speedtronic system. This module is designed using basic DS3800 and DS3810 board components and building a more complex module from them.
The DS3820RDNA is built upon a small rectangular circuit board that has been mounted to two DIN rails using screw mounts. The board itself is only sparsely populated with components. This includes ten vertical pin connectors of various sizes, two plug connectors with two positions each, capacitors, and resistors. There is also a ground screw located on one side of the board.
In addition to these components, the DS3820RDNA module has a large vertical component made up of a rack system that can hold four additional circuit boards. These will slide into and connect to the base board. This rack is open on the sides to allow for heat dissipation. The base board has backplane connectors to allow boards to “plug in” to lined up at the bottom of each channel.
For additional information about the DS3820RDNA, please refer to the original Mark IV Speedtronic documentation. This will help ensure you have a successful installation that has followed all original guidelines from the OEM. Please be aware that some GE components are static-sensitive and should be handled only with static-sensitive protocols.
