About the DS3820RTDB
The DS3820RTDB is an RTD board for the Mark IV system from General Electric. This board is one of many board components available here at AX Control for the Mark IV system. While these boards are no longer available from the original manufacturer, they are typically in stock here at AX Control.
The DS3820RTDB functions as an RTD board. RTDs, or resistance temperature detectors, are used to measure temperature typically through a core made of ceramic or glass wrapped in fine wire and protected by an outer housing.
This board is mounted on a metal carrier with two downward flanges and one upward turned flange. The carrier is factory drilled in each corner and is marked with the board’s id number. The circuit board includes two vertical pin connectors and a number of capacitors. It also has the RTD components. The board surface is printed with a waffle pattern and is drilled twice in each corner to allow for mounting options. Four of these drill points have been used to connect the circuit board to the carrier surface.
