About the DS3820STBB
The DS3820STBB is a circuit board created by General Electric for the Speedtronic Mark IV Turbine series. A gas or steam turbine uses a large internal combustion engine to mix fuel and air to cause a contained explosion. This explosion creates a series of gases that are under a lot of pressure and force their way out of the engine causing the turbine to move at high speed generating a great deal of energy. The energy created by the moving turbine is then harnessed and used for a multitude of other purposes.
The DS3820STBB has three large black boxes that are screwed onto the DS3820STBB. In between the black boxes are two long silver metal arches. Along both of these metal arches, there are twelve flat head screws. The DS3820STBB has three small male terminal ports that have blue plastic cases around them. Each of the male terminal ports has roughly twenty metal prongs inside. These male terminal ports allow the DS3820STBB to be connected to surrounding circuit boards. The DS3820STBB has two thing metal edges with holes and notches to secure the DS3820STBB into place. The DS3820STBB has a large series of diodes and resistors along the bottom. The diodes control the direction of the energy flow. The resistors restrict the energy flow through them.
