About the DS3820T1MC
DS3820T1MC Isolation Module
The DS3820T1MC is a GE component typically used in Mark IV Speedtronic systems. MKIV systems were specifically designed to control gas and steam turbines, and offer a triple modular redundant design that limits downtime caused by hardware faults. This component has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but can be purchased from AX Control as liquidated never-used surplus or as a reconditioned used part that has been thoroughly tested by our in-house technicians.
The DS3820T1MC functions as an Isolation module. This module is built into a metal carrier that is designed with short sides that protect the edges of the boards. The front and back edges of this carrier have two small right-angle flanges with factory-made drill holes. The circuit board component portion of this module is mounted within this carrier and connected to it with several screws. The board is populated by three terminal blocks that are placed in parallel on the board. It has a male vertical pin cable connect, a stab-on connector, and other connectors. The board also has jumper switches, transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors, as well as a single potentiometer.
Manuals, data sheets, and user guides will provide more information regarding this board and how it should be installed and maintained. If these technical support products have been lost or misplaced, our team may be able to help with replacements.
AX Control is located on the southern edge of the high-tech Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. Local customers are welcome to arrange for pick-up of parts using your private courier.
