About the DS3826SSHN
The DS3826SSHN is one of several GE Cell Stack Assemblies available in AX Control’s inventory.
The DS3826SSHN was originally manufactured by General Electric for use within its Mark IV Speedtronic turbine control system. The MKIV was and is used for the management of steam and gas industrial turbine systems. It was the first of the Speedtronic systems to have improved reliability due to its triple modular redundant control architecture.
The DS3826SSHN uses membrane electrode assemblies, otherwise known as MEAs. This is a unit designed from an anode, cathode, and a membrane, plus their catalysts. As hydrogen ions move across the membrane, they bond with oxygen ions. This generates water, electricity, and heat. MEAs are interspersed with flow field plates and cooling plates between end plates to create a single cell stack assembly. Cells are stacked in order to create higher voltage and power.
For a more detailed look at the DS3826SSHN, and also to read the information on how to install and handle these devices, please turn to original documentation from General Electric. You should have received datasheets, product guides, and manuals from the OEM with your original purchase. However, we understand sometimes this sort of documentation can be lost over time. We are happy to help with any information we have.
