DS3828BH3A Cell Stack Assembly 

The DS3828BH3A is a GE component manufactured to be used within the Mark IV Speedtronic system.  The Mark IV was the third of the Speedtronic gas and steam turbine management systems to be released by General Electric, and the first Speedtronic system to be designed with a triple modular redundant design.  The DS3828BH3A is available from AX Control as a never-used surplus part or as a reconditioned unit. 

The DS3828BH3A functions as a Cell Stack Assembly.  It is designed with three flow-field plates that deliver a low voltage, sandwiched with two membrane electrode assemblies, or MEAs.   Cell stacks are used within fuel cells to stimulate the movement/diffusion of fuel.  The assembly is held together using bolts threaded through all components horizontally.
