The DS3828BH5A from General Electric was manufactured for use within the company’s Mark IV turbine control system.  This Speedtronic system was designed to offer turbine control and management for industrial gas and steam turbine systems of different sizes and complexities.   It was the first of its kind to use triple-modular-redundant control units to significantly reduce the incidence of downtime.   The DS3828BH5A can be purchased from AX Control as new, never used surplus, or as a reconditioned unit.  At some times we will have both options in stock, but at others, we may only have one or the other available.  Please ask about availability and price differences when ordering. 

The DS3828BH5A is a 5 amp cell stack assembly.  The unit is designed with flow-field plates sandwiched together with membrane electrode assemblies, otherwise known as MEAs.  Cell stacks like this one are used within fuel cells in order to stimulate fuel movement and diffusion.   The entire assembly holds together using bolts that are threaded horizontally through all of the components.
