About the DS3860NTCF
The DS3860NTCF is a modified PCB from GE made to work as a part of the Mark IV series. This series manages steam and gas turbines and is built on a framework of integrated microcomputers that monitor and oversee the turbine system around the clock for issues such as over speed, fire, loss of flame, and high pressure.
The DS3860NTCF is a modified, updated version of a DS3800NTCF board. The board has two PCB mating connectors, including one 218A4637-P4 connector (right-angled, male) and a 218A4553-1A/mp 533002-1 connector (right-angled.) Both connectors are placed on the short edges of the board.
The DS3860NTCF has one resistor network array and four trim potentiometers. Resistor networks can be used for voltage division. The board is populated with both CCR (carbon composite) and metal film resistors. The DS3860NTCF has seven TP test points and has extractor clips added to two corners. These nylon clips aid with both insertion and extraction of the board, especially when dealing with limited space.
The DS3860NTCF has five jumper switches that are primarily located in the upper left corner of the board. It is built with 32 capacitors made of polyester vinyl (708D1 .0022 +/- M/e 200V) and 32 8847C +M/c SS 47K +10VDC capacitors. Several other capacitors are also located on the board.
The DS3860NTCF has eight circuits in all. This includes octal buffers and line drivers, quad two-input positive AND-gates, and hex inverting gates. This product will be shipped from our warehouse to you in a protective, plastic covering. All technical support for the DS3860NTCF (and other MKIV components) was provided by GE. This includes end user publications like manuals and datasheets.
