About the DS4815COMD
The DS4815COMD is a modified PCB component for GE’s Mark IV gas and steam turbine control system. The MKIV is designed to protect the turbine system around the clock from issues like fire, high pressure, vibration, and over temperature and over speed. The MKIV has significantly improved reliability when compared to earlier Speedtronic systems like the MKI and MKII.
The DS4815COMD is a modification built upon a DS3800HCMC PCB. The board is drilled at all corners and marked for alignment on one edge. It is marked with the code 6BA00. Extractor clips have been inserted into two corners.
The DS4815COMD has three mating connectors designed for communication between PCBs. This includes one 2184553-1 AMP 533002-1 connector (on the left side of the board,) and two AMP 8751C 745105-2 connectors. These latter connectors have screw connectors located on either side of the pins.
The DS4815COMD has three light emitting diodes, including one amber and two red. The board has two TP test points, two Augat connectors, three resistor network arrays, and eighteen jumper switches.
The DS4815COMD has over fifty circuits. This includes quad 2-input NOR gates, dual J-K negative-edge-triggered flip-flops with preset and clear that are fully buffered with maximum isolation from external disturbance, hex/quad d-type flip-flops with an individual data input to each flip-flop, and quad 2-input positive NAND gates that can accept 3.3-V or 2.5-V logic inputs.
The DS4815COMD component will be shipped from the warehouse at AX Control in a static-reducing plastic protective covering. All tech support for this part was provided by GE.
