Pickup Interface Board DS200EVIAG1B produced by General Electric for the Mark V Series. This board was designed to be used in steam and gas turbine prime mover applications. In turbine-generator applications, this board can be used with a variety of uncommon operating conditions such as overheating, over speed, and loss of oil type conditions. More features of this board are common hardware platforms for gas and steam applications, software-implemented fault tolerance, and direct sensor interfaces.
The DS200EVIAG1B board can be used in simplex or triple modular redundant (TMR) applications. This board was designed for direct interfacing with generator and turbine devices as follows:
These interfaces allow for direct monitoring of sensors which eliminates the cost and potential reliability factors which interposes with instrumentation and transducers. Another feature is thermocouple temperature monitoring, both ungrounded and ground RTDs and thermocouples. One of the thermocouples and its supported RTD is the T thermocouple with a 200 platinum Omega RTD.
