Product Description
The General Electric Power Excitation Board model DS200RTBAG4A is an optional board that is installed in the drive cabinet and it features ten relays that are driven either directly from the pilot relays or remotely by the user. The replacement DS200RTBAG4A board will be shipped to your site in a shipping container which is sealed as a security measure to prevent tampering or theft. Before you break the security tape or open the container, it is best practice to perform a few simple tasks.
The outside of the box has a shipping label with the model number, serial number and other information. Verify that the model listed on the label is the same as the board that you ordered. Also, before you proceed it is best to write down the model number and store the information with your other important documents. If you ever have a need for service or support, the service organisation will want this information to provide you the most accurate and complete assistance.
Examine the container and look for signs of damage. Look to see if the box has dents that expose the board or indicate that the board was damaged by excessive force. Also look for signs that water leaked on the box and soaked into the board. If you are satisfied with the condition of the box, open it and gather all the documentation together. This includes all of the manuals, flyers, warranty information, and support information. Keep the board wrapped in the protective bag.
