Product Description
DS200SHVMG1ACC is a high voltage M-frame interface board designed by General Electric for their Mark V series of boards. As many of the series members are optional or replacement boards, this card can be used across a number of GE brand drives. This board allows for interfacing between the SCR bridge on the M-frame drive and the DCFB or SDCI power supply board and the PCCA powerconnect card.
A number of drive functions are included when this board is installed into a drive. -500 to 500 mV shunt signals are converted by DS200SHVMG1ACC into differential frequency outputs ranging from 0 to 500 kHz. These conversions occur using the DC positive and negative voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) circuits. Once converted, these signals are transmitted to the PCCA card or the DCFB/SDCI board. AC line currents are provided with a 10:1 current transformer attenuation. Any of the 17 onboard jumpers can be configured depending on attenuation requirements.
The board as well as the drive have a set of provided installation parameters that should be met. Following these instructions will prevent any accidental damages to the overall drive system. For a guide to wiring and installing the board, please refer to the series manual and device datasheet. Technical support for DS200SHVMG1ACC and other members of the Mark V series was originally provided by General Electric.
