The ID assigned to the 34-pin connector is JA. The IDs assigned to the 50-pin connectors are JUU and JB. The programmable logic device that populates the GE TC2000 Analog I/O Extender Board DS200TCQFG1B uses the firmware code on the erasable programmable read only memory (EPROM) modules for processing instructions. The firmware stored on the EPROM modules can be updated by downloading a new version of the code from the web. A newer version of the firmware will contain the latest fixes and improvements. However, when you replace the board it is best practice to use the same version of firmware on the replacement board as you had installed on the old board. Wear a static protective device, such as a wrist strap and insert a screwdriver into the space between the socket and the module and gently twist the blade to lift the module away from the socket. Then, perform the same action on the other side. Immediately place the module in a static protective bag.
