The DS215DENCG3AZZ01A is a GE Mark V board component manufactured for use within one of the later Speedtronic systems.  The Mark V was designed to offer control for gas and steam turbines with triple modular redundant fault tolerance operating with the use of microprocessors.  The MKV can be designed as a TMR or as a Simplex system depending on the needs of the turbine system.   The MKV uses a modular design for simple maintenance.  While these board components are no longer fabricated by the OEM, they can be purchased from AX Control as reconditioned, optimized units. 

The DS215DENCG3AZZ01A is a small board component with only a few board components.  This includes multiple connectors typically placed along the board’s edges, including two vertical pin cable connectors, a right-angled header connector, and two sets of taller brass pins.  The board has seven jumper switches, as well as transistors, resistor network arrays, individual metal film resistors, capacitors, and diodes.  It has over twenty integrated circuits, including field programmable gate arrays.  It also has a long LED numerical display board placed on the left side of the board.  

The DS215DENCG3AZZ01A is drilled in each board corner to allow for mounting.  The board surface is marked with several identifying codes and most components are marked with reference designators and/or original manufacturing codes.
