The General Electric DS215UCLAG1B Board is part of the Mark V Series as a Firmware Circuit Board. This board can be used in simplex or triple-modular redundant (TMR) type applications. Along with being used in the aforementioned redundancy-type applications, this board will be used in gas or steam turbine prime mover types. When this board is used in the Mark V Series it is designed to be used with several turbines and generator-type devices such as thermocouples, resistive temperature devices (RTDs), vibration sensors, magnetic speed pickups, and servos and LVDT/Rs.
The DS215UCLAG1B can be used with hardware inputs and outputs that will be used to directly monitor some of the aforementioned turbine and generator-type devices. Some of the inputs and outputs that are used with this board are the contact/solenoid outputs, pulse rate inputs, servo valve interfacing, and contact inputs; these are just some of the inputs and outputs that can be used, for more of the inputs and outputs refer to the GEI-100460 Mark V Product Description Guide.
Due to no longer being actively produced by General Electric the DS215UCLAG1B board is considered obsolete. Due to the obsolescence of this model, it is difficult to find used or new surplus.
