Product Description

The GE Drive Systems UPLAG Board DS215UPLAG1BZZ01A is an upgraded version of the DS200UPLAG1A and consists of on-board eeproms that update the firmware accordingly. The DS215UPLAG1BZZ01A features a single reset button, 28 jumpers, and 2 banks of configuration switches. The GE Drive Systems UPLAG Board DS215UPLAG1BZZ01A also is populated with 2 indicator LEDs and 1 fuse. The GE Drive Systems UPLAG Board DS215UPLAG1BZZ01A is populated with one green Power On LED that is lit when power is present in the board. When the LED is not lit, it indicates that power is not present. The 1 red LED indicates that an error has occurred in the board.  If an error has occurred, it is best practice to first press the reset button on the board. This button enables the processing on the board to restart without causing the board to lose power. If an error has occurred, restarting might resolve the issue.

When troubleshooting and experiencing issues with this PCB, start by checking the fuse to see if it has blown. If this is the case, it can either be replaced to resolve the fault or the board will continue to short any replace fuse because of additional faulty components. The ID for the fuse is FU1. 

The DS215UPLAG1BZZ01A is part of the EX2000 GE Excitation Turbine Control Series and can be purchased from surplus sellers or repaired by non-authorized companies that stock and repair EX2000 printed circuit boards.
