About the IS200AVGBG1AAA
The IS200AVGBG1AAA is a printed circuit board (PCB) designed by GE as part of the Mark VI series. It is also sometimes used in the AV300i drive. The MKVI Speedtronic series has been used for the management of heavy-duty gas or steam turbines for decades and offers complete control via triple-redundant protection modules. The system is designed with a Windows-based operating system that includes proprietary software (CIMPLCITY/Control System Toolbox) and Ethernet capabilities.
As a gate driver board in the AV300i drive, typically the drive needs three IS200AVGBG1AAA boards per each 3300,3350, 3400 or 3450 HP drive. The board is not needed for drives above or below those HP ratings.
The IS200AVGBG1AAA is a smaller rectangular-shaped board with factory-made cutouts. The largest of these is rectangular-shaped and located near the center top of the board. It is spanned by a c-shaped clip connected to the board using two screws. The clip has a round mounting hole located near its center. Other drilled openings in the board are labeled LG, LE, VG, and VE.
Other board components include male vertical pin connectors (two-, eight-, and six-pins) as well as transistors, metal film resistors, and ceramic capacitors.
